  • KriSHE Carbon Transforms Rural India with SoilBox Climate Action

KriSHE Carbon Transforms Rural India with SoilBox Climate Action

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 18: In the dry farmlands of Gujarat, a quiet revolution is taking root. Between January and March 2025, KriSHE Carbon, a climate-tech startup with deep soil in regenerative agriculture, turned what was once burned waste—cotton stubble—into a carbon-sequestering solution powered by women.

KriSHE Carbon was founded with the vision of transforming this broken system. The startup is pioneering a new model by connecting smallholder farmers to global carbon markets and providing the right incentives to adopt sustainable practices for the long term. Through this approach, KriSHE Carbon is not only reducing agricultural emissions but also restoring soil health and stabilizing farmer incomes.

With the support of the SoilBox program, KriSHE Carbon secured a ₹12.5 lakh grant to accelerate its mission. This funding has helped create tangible impact in several farming communities. The pilot project aimed to tackle three major rural challenges—soil degradation, stubble burning, and women’s livelihood insecurity—and in just three months, the numbers speak for themselves:

    • 500 women farmers trained in biochar production using low-tech Kon-Tiki kilns.
    • 501 soil samples tested to benchmark soil health.
    • Over 21 tonnes of biochar produced from cotton residue.
    • Biochar applied to farms of all 501 participating farmers.
    • Around 40 tonnes of CO₂ effectively sequestered from the atmosphere.
    • 500 households surveyed to create a robust baseline for long-term impact assessment.

The women now operate kilns independently, with many offering paid services to neighboring farms. Residue burning has stopped entirely in these communities, reversing years of harmful environmental impact. In place of ash and smoke, the fields now show early signs of healthier soil structure and improved topsoil.

Rekhaben Gamar from Sandhosi shared, “Operating the kiln gave me confidence and income. I now earn ₹2,500 extra every month.” Jayaben Parmar from Matarvada added, “After using biochar, the soil feels alive again. We’ve stopped burning.”

With this success, KriSHE Carbon isn’t slowing down. The roadmap ahead includes:

    • Scaling to 1,000 women farmers in 2025.
    • Deploying 10 more kilns to achieve 100 tonnes of biochar production.
    • Registering for carbon credits under Climate Standard Initiative.
    • Initiating carbon credit sales worth ₹50 lakh.

By 2026–27, the goal is ambitious but grounded: 10,000 women farmers empowered, 15,000 tonnes of CO₂ sequestered, and a blueprint for climate-positive rural transformation ready to replicate across India.

The Gujarat pilot has proven that climate solutions don’t need high-tech labs or billion-dollar investments — they can begin with women, waste, and wisdom.

KriSHE Carbon also places a strong emphasis on gender inclusion. Women play a crucial yet often unrecognized role in agriculture, carrying the dual burden of food production and household responsibilities. By actively involving women in its sustainability programs, KriSHE Carbon acknowledges them not just as participants, but as leaders and key drivers of change in their communities.

“When farmers are paid not only for what they grow but also for the carbon they help sequester — and when women lead the charge in adopting climate-resilient practices — it becomes more than a solution, it becomes a transformation,” said Rushva Parihar, Head of OmniActive Improving Lives Foundation.

The support provided by SoilBox goes beyond financial assistance. Selected startups like KriSHE Carbon benefit from access to real-world pilots, expert mentorship, and peer-learning networks, enabling them to refine their solutions and scale impact sustainably.

“KriSHE Carbon is not just fighting climate change; it is rebuilding agriculture with long-term thinking, scientific tools, and a deep respect for the people working the land,” said Bhavna Pandya, Innovation Catalyst at riidl Somaiya Vidyavihar University, which has supported over 300 startups and more than 1,000 jobs and internships over the last 15 years.

Across India, SoilBox is fostering a new generation of startups committed to rural innovation, environmental restoration, and economic dignity. In Southern India, KriSHE Carbon is emerging as a powerful example of what’s possible when agriculture is reimagined — not just as a means of production, but as a pathway to prosperity, resilience, and hope.

  • Jiore Sinche Kojic Soap Reviewed By Many For Revolutionary Tan Removal Using Carrot Seed Oil

Jiore Sinche Kojic Soap Reviewed By Many For Revolutionary Tan Removal Using Carrot Seed Oil

New Delhi [India], June 18:  Jhansi Rani Vedachalam, once a top-performing software engineer at Microsoft, made a life-altering decision when she left her stable corporate job to follow a deeply personal mission. Struggling with dark spots and hyperpigmentation since childhood, Jhansi knew firsthand the emotional toll it took—low self-esteem, the feeling of invisibility in school corridors, and the quiet battles she fought every time she looked in the mirror. While studying advanced cosmetology in Chemistry in Atlanta, she realised that most global skincare products ignored the realities of Indian skin tones.

Fueled by her own journey and scientific understanding, she returned to India with one dream—to create a soap that truly worked on melanin-rich skin, naturally and effectively.

With the help of skilled chemical engineers experienced in cosmetic formulations, Jhansi developed just 3 tan-removal soap variants that marked the beginning of Jiore—a brand born not from trend, but from truth. She invested months in researching active botanicals, perfecting the optimal pH balance, and conducting clinical tests to ensure safety and performance. Her breakthrough didn’t come easy—she faced rejection from labs, skeptics who doubted her vision, and endless packaging and website setbacks. But what she had was clarity and conviction. Within 3 years, her brand went viral, selling over 2000 soaps a day, reaching customers globally through a self-run website—no Amazon, Flipkart, or reseller platforms involved. “Jiore Soaps are now the Rolex of soaps when it comes to Tan Removal,” she proudly declares—and with good reason.

Today, Jhansi’s ISO-certified skincare company clocks over 30 crores in annual revenue and continues to expand with integrity. Her soaps have become a beacon of hope for people who once felt unseen in the skincare world. She stays rooted in research, quality, and customer feedback, refusing to dilute her brand with mass-market compromises. From a quiet schoolgirl burdened by hyperpigmentation to the founder of a global skincare revolution, Jhansi Rani Vedachalam transformed her deepest insecurity into her greatest innovation, proving that healing the skin can also heal the soul.

Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], June 17:  As International Yoga Day passes with millions embracing their mats and breath, a quiet reflection begins among serious practitioners: How can I deepen my practice beyond this one day? In the heart of this reflection stands ACTIZEET Shilajit — a powerful, natural ally that is fast becoming recognized as the best Shilajit for yoga.

While yoga has become a global movement, rooted in India’s timeless spiritual heritage, sustaining a long-term, transformative yoga practice requires more than just discipline. Flexibility, stamina, and mental clarity—these are the pillars that define a meaningful yogic journey. ACTIZEET Shilajit, harvested from the pristine heights of the Indian Himalayas, steps forward as the perfect complement to every yogi’s pursuit.

A Timely Reflection: Beyond International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day on June 21st inspires millions to pause, breathe, and reconnect with their inner selves. Yet, for many, this day also serves as a reminder of the physical and mental demands that come with a consistent yoga routine. Joint stiffness, fatigue, and mental fog often challenge even the most dedicated practitioners.

ACTIZEET Shilajit offers a time-tested solution. “Yoga is not only a physical art but also a science of energy, breath, and focus,” shares Tapas K. Biswas, Founder of ACTIZEET. “ACTIZEET Shilajit naturally supports these elements, helping yogis to move beyond surface-level practice into deeper, sustained transformation.”

Why ACTIZEET Shilajit is the Best Shilajit for Yoga

ACTIZEET sources its Shilajit directly from untouched Himalayan rock formations, carefully purifying it to retain maximum potency. Unlike many commercial products, ACTIZEET offers 100% pure, resin-form Shilajit — a rare adaptogen rich in fulvic acid, trace minerals, and bioactive nutrients that work synergistically to support the yogic body and mind.

Here’s why ACTIZEET Shilajit stands out as the best Shilajit for yoga:

    • Enhanced Flexibility: Shilajit’s anti-inflammatory properties help reduce joint stiffness and muscular tension, enabling smoother transitions and deeper stretches during asanas.

    • Sustained Energy & Stamina: Shilajit optimizes mitochondrial function, supporting consistent, sustainable energy without spikes or crashes — perfect for extended yoga sessions or multi-day retreats.

    • Sharper Mental Clarity: With neuroprotective benefits, ACTIZEET Shilajit enhances concentration, aiding in breath control, meditation, and mindfulness—cornerstones of yogic practice.

    • Faster Recovery: Yoga challenges muscles in unique ways. Shilajit’s rich mineral content accelerates recovery, reduces soreness, and promotes cellular repair.

    • Hormonal Balance: Its adaptogenic nature helps stabilize hormonal levels, supporting mood regulation, reducing anxiety, and promoting emotional balance—essential for those committed to holistic wellness.

      ACTIZEET

Rooted in Ancient Ayurveda, Validated by Modern Science

Long revered as the “destroyer of weakness” in ancient Ayurvedic texts, Shilajit’s powers are not mythical but deeply rooted in science. Modern studies confirm its wide-ranging benefits—from reducing oxidative stress and inflammation to improving physical performance and cognitive function.

“ACTIZEET Shilajit serves as a bridge between the ancient yogic wisdom and modern wellness science,” Biswas explains. “We are not just offering a supplement; we are honoring an ancient tradition while ensuring world-class purity and safety.”

A Global Wellness Movement with Indian Roots

As yoga continues to expand its reach globally, India remains at its spiritual core. ACTIZEET is proud to contribute to India’s global leadership in holistic health by offering products that are ethically sourced, sustainably harvested, and rigorously tested for purity.

Every batch of ACTIZEET Shilajit undergoes stringent quality checks to ensure it is free from heavy metals, toxins, and contaminants. This dedication to purity makes ACTIZEET a trusted name among yoga instructors, practitioners, and wellness experts worldwide.

    The Ideal Post-Yoga Day Addition

In the days following International Yoga Day, many seek ways to sustain their newfound inspiration. ACTIZEET Shilajit provides a simple yet powerful daily ritual — a pea-sized portion dissolved in warm water or milk can support yogis before or after practice, enhancing both performance and recovery.
